On February 14, 1955 a valentine baby was born, she was called Nadean. At an early age she joined Walker Street Church of God in Christ in Camilla, Ga. She attended Mitchell County High School. After graduation she moved to Atlanta, Ga. and attended Atlanta Technical School and Atlanta Jr. College. She worked at Grady Memorial Hospital for 12 years. Later moving back home she worked and retired in 2010 from Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
She was a member of Bethany Temple Church of God in Christ, where she served faithfully as a Sunday School Teacher, Bible Study Teacher, and President of the Usher Board until her health declined. In the capacities in which she served, she always gave service with a smile. She departed this life May 11, 2018 at the Pruitt Health Nursing Home.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, a loving and devoted mother Earnestine Lawrence of Albany, Ga., twin brother, Napoleon (Melva) Lawrence of Baconton, Ga. Two loving sisters, Rosemary Lawrence Duru and Sandra Lawrence both of Albany, Ga. A special cousin Ada Brown of Camilla, Ga. A special church family Bethany Temple who over the years became her family and a host of relatives and friends.
