Ms. Janay Griffin

Janay Evette Griffin began her season of life on August 28, 1976.  She was the oldest of two children born to Herbert and Genevieve Griffin in Albany, Georgia. She was a caring, supportive and loving mother, daughter and big sister. Excelling academically, Janay was a proud member of the 1994 graduating class of Monroe Comprehensive High School.  She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Albany State University and a Master of Science in Management from Troy State University.  For over 10 years, she loved being of service to students as a Testing Coordinator at Albany State University.  Beautifully blossomed, Janay’s season of life came to an end when God hand-picked her on January 30, 2021, to take her eternal rest.  Her life and legacy of love will continue in the hearts of her devoted daughter, JayRah Griffin; loving parents, Herbert and Genevieve Griffin; dedicated sister, Janeen Griffin; godson, Kendrick Ellis; god brother, Arthur (Angela) Butler; and 7 uncles, 10 aunts and many cousins and friends.
