Ms. Dora Lee Thompkins

God called home one of His special angels, Dora Lee Thompkins, on November 6, 2022 at the age of eighty-three (83) having resided a number of years in Brandywine, Maryland.

 

Dora blessed family and friends with eight (8) decades plus of love, laughter and happiness not to mention her awesome smile. As the last of her siblings, Dora now rests with her parents, twin sister, Dorothy T Reese; and sisters, Sarah T Bennett and Mary T Giles; fve brothers, namely, Lucious Thompkins, Jr., Melvin Thompkins, Samuel Thompkins, Isaiah Thompkins and Paul Thompkins.

Memories of our beloved family members will be forever cherished by two sons, Mark Turner (Christine), Thaddeus Lee Lewis (Sonjia), and one daughter, Latresa Lomax (Darnell). Other surviving family include ten (10) grandchildren, Titia Pugh-Pounsel, Michelle Malone, Brittaney Woodson, Chiquita Turner, Evangelia Turner, Jordan Lewis, Jacoby Spears-Lewis, Kennedy Cooper-Lewis, Angela Lomax, Kathryn Lomax; and great grandson, Donte` Harden, Jr. Lastly, Dora leaves fond memories with nephews and nieces, Michael Reese (Courtney), Xavier Reese, Kenneth Reese (Antonia), Austin Giles (Jacquelyn), Cheryl Giles, Linda Giles-Hille, Danette Giles and Rosemary Turner (Lamar). A host of other family and friends must also be included among those having fond recollections of a special angel.
