Ms. Mary Elizabeth "Angel" Bailey

Mary Elizabeth Bailey “Angel”, 30 of Buckhead, GA, passed away at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital on Friday, June 13, 2025. She was born May 17, 1995, in Athens. GA.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, William and Mary Bailey, Howard and Willie Mae Stone and Step Grandparents, Harold Huff & Patricia Stone

She is survived by her parents, Mark and Suzille Bailey, Grandmother, Susan Huff, Grandfather, BH Stone, Brother, Allan Bailey (Bri), Nephew, Gatlin Bailey, 2 Children, James William and Olivia Angelee Bailey, Aunt, Jeannie Jackson (Chris), Cousin, Grace Jackson (Ryan) and many close friends & extended family members. 

Angel was outgoing and never met a stranger. She was fun and bubbly with life. She helped many people in her 30 years of life, giving everyone she knew all the love she had. She loved her son James and was so excited about her new little Olivia. She will be remembered, and her legacy will live on through both of her children.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be announced soon. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to help with hospital expenses for the baby and her and James’ future.

We would like to thank all of the staff at Phoebe Putney Memorial for the phenomenal job they did taking care of Angel and baby Olivia.
