Ms. Lenita
Quimby
Apr 18, 1969 — Jun 17, 2026
Lenita Stella Ruth Quimby was born on April 18, 1969, in Hartford, Connecticut. On June 17, 2026, she peacefully departed this life,
leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion to her family.
Lenita was a quiet and reserved woman whose actions spoke louder than words. She possessed a gentle spirit and a caring heart, always placing the needs of her family above her own. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother. She loved her children unconditionally and worked tirelessly to protect, guide, and support them throughout their lives.
Lenita proudly served her country in the United States Army and later retired
after years of dedicated military service. Her commitment, discipline, and sense of duty were evident not only in her military career but also in the way she cared for those she loved.
Though she preferred a life away from the spotlight, Lenita's presence brought comfort and stability to those around her. She will be remembered for her quiet strength, her loving nature, and the unwavering devotion she showed to her family.
Lenita was preceded in death by her parents, James Beasley and Juanita Quimby; and her brothers, Demetress Quimby, Qwaintet Quimby, Daryl Quimby, and her sister, Twanda Quimby.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories her three beloved children:
Enarius Quimby, Pam Quimby, and Dontavian Quimby; one aunt, Ruth Haynes and along with a host of other relatives and friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
Lenita's love, guidance, and sacrifices will never be forgotten. While her physical presence is gone, her legacy will continue through the lives she touched and the family she cherished so deeply.
