Mrs. Patricia Boone

September 16, 1947 — September 10, 2020

On Thursday, September 10, 2020, Patricia A. Boone departed this earth for her eternal resting place. Patricia was the twelfth child born to the late Dea. Lawrence and Eliza Wilson.

She received her education at Monroe High School. Throughout her years there, she was actively involved on the basketball team. She also attended Albany State University. Patricia was born in a Christian home, where she was taught the word of God and the importance of living a life of integrity, strong character, and kindness. At an early age she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and united with Cutliff Grove Baptist Church.

On January 8, 1969, she was united in holy matrimony to the late Isiah Boone. They shared a life filled with love and devotion to each other. Their union was blessed with two children, Freida and Isiah Jr. both of Albany.

Patricia’s favorite pastime activities were spending time for her family, reading, shopping, doing crossword puzzles and watching her favorite football team, the Seattle Seahawks and her favorite basketball team, the Georgetown Hoyas.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by eight siblings, Lawrence Jr; Gladys, Johnnie Mae, Mattie, Robert, Julia, Jack and Inward

Left with many memories to cherish are her daughter, Freida (Corey) McCallum, her son, Isiah Denard Boone Jr., both of Albany, GA; her grandchildren, Timothy and Tiarra, a great grandchild, Deziya, a sister, Helen (Arthur) Smith of Albany, GA; three brothers, Samuel Wilson of Albany, GA; Milton Wilson of Leslie, GA; and James (Dianne) Wilson of Charlotte, N.C; thirty nieces and nephews, a host of great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.
