Mrs. Ossie Davis

Ossie Lee Sims-Davis was born on October 14, 1926 in Lee County to the late Roosevelt and Matilda Sims. She attended Lee County public school, she retired from Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Ga. She departed her earthly life on
Wednesday August 22, 2018 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

Ossie Lee was preceded in death by her parents Roosevelt and Matilda Sims, her husband Robert Lee Davis, one sister: Johnnie
B. Briley, three brothers: Jessie Lee Sims, Eddie Lee Sims and Roosevelt Sims Jr. also preceded her in death
(three) of 13 children’s, one son: Johnny Lee Davis, two daughter’s: Carrie Bell Sims-Strum and Virginia Lee Davis- Rowe. She leaves to cherish her precious memories (ten) of 13 children five daughters: Rosa Gibson (Andrew), Ocie Potts, Redell Kennedy, Artizell Johnson and Bernice Hill (Willie) all of Albany, Ga., five sons: David L. Shed (Alice) of Columbus, Ga., Ivery L. Davis of Maryland, Robert L. Davis (Mary), Cleveland L. Davis (Irene), and Jessie L. Davis (Velina) all of Albany, Ga., two sisters: Virginia Sims of Albany, Ga. and Shirley Townsell of
Philadelphia, forty two grand children’s and a host of great grandchildren’s, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
