Mrs. Cheryle McIntyre

Cheryle Ann McIntyre was born on August 27, 1962 to the late Leonard Covington and L. Pearl Smith Covington in Albany, GA. She passed away into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital Albany, GA. Cheryle was joined in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Lee A. McIntyre and with this union one child was born. Cheryle was educated in the Dougherty County School System where she graduated from Albany High School Class of 1981. She furthered her education at Albany Junior College and Meadows College of Business. She was gainfully employed and was an asset to several different employers within the realm of her education, however, painting was her passion. Cheryle accepted Christ at an early age where she was baptized under the leadership of the late Rev. R.B. Smith, Pastor of Third Kiokee Baptist Church. Cheryle became an active member of the church serving in many capacities participating in Sunday School and Junior Choir. Presently, she was a member of New Direction Christian Church under the leadership of Apostle Izell Williams, Jr. Cheryle was a loving, fun and kind person. She loved everyone and was known and loved by many. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Adrienne L. Covington; brother, Ralph McGill; 3 aunts and 2 uncles.

She leaves to cherish her memories: Two devoted daughters, CoCo A. McIntyre of Los Angeles, CA and Diamonds R. McIntyre of Albany, GA; grandchildren, Lauren A. Edmond and Justin M. Edmond of Los Angeles, CA; her loving mother, Mrs. L. Pearl Smith Covington of Albany, GA; devoted sisters, Sheila R. Mayweather of Jacksonville, FL; April M. Dukes and Jasmine Dukes Jones (Dreshawn) both of Albany, GA; a devoted ex-husband and friend, Lee A. McIntyre; one aunt, Daisy Hamilton of Ocilla, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
