Mrs. Bertha King

Bertha was born on March 20, 1939, in Calhoun County, Georgia to late Clarence and late Eva Monroe.
She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and joined Gethsemane Baptist Church in Arlington, Georgia.
Bertha married Raymond Johnny King, Sr., and to this union, eight children were born.
She departed this life on July 12, 2019. She is preceded in death by parents and her firstborn, George King,
who passed away in 2000.
Her surviving children are: Thaddeus King, Bainbridge, GA, Sabrina King, Gala King Wilson(Michael), Calvin King (Pamela), and Leonard King, all of Albany, GA, Raymond J. King, Jr., Arlington, GA, and Carlton King, Montezuma, GA; Also, cherishing Bertha's memory are four siblings, Donnie Bell Mosley, Albany, GA, Rebecca Miller, John Monroe, and Joanne Miller (Leroy), all of Arlington,
GA; a brother-in-law, Robert King (Veronica), Atlanta, GA; twenty-seven grandchildren; thirty-six great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
