Della Cobb Guest was born in Newton, Georgia on November 25, 1957, to the late Charlie and Virginia Cobb, and she transitioned from this life on August 24, 2022.
Della Cobb Guest was educated in the Baker County School System. Upon graduation, she entered the workforce and became a seamstress which led to a lifelong career. She later obtained a Medical Assistant certification from Albany Technical College in which she was an employee of Evergreen Assisted Living, where she worked faithfully for 25 years until her final shift. She was a devoted member of St. Matthews Missionary Baptist Church of Newton, GA where she faithfully served in the Choir Ministry and as the secretary of the Missions
Della Cobb Guest was united in matrimony to Mr. Walker Guest on May 9, 1980. To this union, a son was born, Jason Cortez Guest, who preceded her in death. She leaves a legacy of love, joy, and faith to Valencia Guest and Layla Camille Guest, and her bonus daughter, Veronica (Roy) Poole, and three bonus grandchildren. Leaving a legacy of sisterly love to her siblings, Eddie B. (Bertha) Cobb of Pelham, GA, Nathaniel Cobb, Sr. of Newton, GA, Elizabeth (Lynward) Elliott of Albany, GA, her twin Ella (Edd) Hall of Valdosta, GA, John (Mary) Cobb of Newton, GA, and Lynward (Sabrina) Cobb of Hampton, GA, a goddaughter, a loving niece Zenora (Scottie) Sanders of McDonough, GA, a host of nieces and nephews, and family and friends.
