Brundidge-Flowers
April 7, 1946 – May 28, 2026
Mrs. Bobbie Jean Brundidge Flowers was born on April 7, 1946, in Goshen, Alabama, to the late Willie James Brundidge and Mary Lee Youngblood. She later moved to Troy, Alabama, where she was educated in the local school system and graduated from Academy Street High School in 1964.
Bobbie gave her life to Christ at an early age and remained a faithful servant throughout her life. She dedicated her time and talents to the church, serving as an usher, working with the youth ministry, and assisting in the kitchen ministry in her younger years. She was a devoted member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, where she faithfully worshiped under the leadership of Rev. Daniel Simmons.
On Thursday, May 28, 2026, Bobbie peacefully entered into her eternal rest in the arms of Jesus.
She was preceeded in death by two sisters: Caretha Brundidge and Jessie Mae Brantley. Brothers and Sisters-in-law: Mark (Willie Mae) Bacon, Lucille (Matthew) Brown, Louise (Benny) Wilson, Doris (Jonas) Corbin, Annie Lois (John) Hall, Annie Willie Flowers, William Flowers, and Solomon (Stella) Flowers.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory: her devoted husband, Roger Flowers; her children, Reginald (Mia) Flowers and Pamela Theresa Flowers; her beloved grandchildren, Patrice Lachell Lee, LaMia Elayne (Paul) Sherman, Reginald Makel Flowers, and Ryan Mekhi Flowers; and her cherished great-grandson, K’syn Sherman.
She is also survived by her sisters and brother, Mary Jean (James) Pope, Viola (Willie Mack) Levens, and Willie Cee Youngblood; her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Margie Flowers, Wallace (Mary) Flowers, Charles (Elaine) Flowers, Gloria (Wilbur) McAfee, and Horace (Yvonne) Flowers; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
