Mr. Jessie Lee Neloms 76, was born on July 16, 1940 in Leesburg, GA. He is the son of the Late Ulysses and Leonia Neloms. He departed this life on August 17, 2016 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA. He was educated in the Lee County Training School in Leesburg, GA. Jessie, was employed in the Dougherty County School System for 26 years before retirement in 2006. During his 26 years of employment he touched the lives of many students and staff members with his smile and eagerness to assist when needed. He loved music, dancing, spending time with family and friends. Mr. Jessie Lee Neloms confessed Christ and joined First Monumental Faith Ministries under the leadership of Sr. Pastor Roosevelt Carter. He will be remembered for his generous spirit, compassionate heart and captivating smile. He was preceded in death by his Parents; Ulysses and Leonia Neloms; Siblings Johnnie Mae Neloms, and Ceola Neloms and Grandson Joshua Neloms Sr. He leaves to cherish his legacy and love to: Wife, Ruth Neloms of Albany, GA ; Aunt, Jurybell Johnson of Smithville, GA ; Daughter, Stephanie Neloms (Sheldon) of Jacksonville, Florida; Son, Keith Neloms (Melissa) of Gilbert, Arizona; Stepson, Terrance Carroll (Monica) of Palm Bay, Florida; Sister, Betty Johnson of Ideal, Georgia; Brother, Johnny Neloms of New York City, New York. He also leaves his love to his Twelve Grandchildren; Four Great-Grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, dear friends, Dougherty County School System employees and First Monumental Faith Ministries Family.
