Mr. Charles Foster

Charles Harrison Foster was born on February 23, 1952 to Fannie Stephens Foster Miller and Johnnie Lee Foster in Albany, Georgia. He was reared in church at a very early age and received Christ and was baptized in the Baptist faith.

He attended grade school in Albany school in Albany, Georgia. After moving to New Jersey he graduated from Jonathan Dayton Regional High School with honors. He excelled not only in academic studies but also in basketball and football. He attended Edinboro State College in Edinboro, Pa. where he received scholarships in basketball and other sports.

He was married to Dana Taylor Foster and to this union two children were born, Charissa Adrienne Foster and Stephen Foster. One step-daughter, Christina Taylor. One Grandson, Taalib Foster, all of New Jersey.

Charles was a person of few words but many talents, very easy going and mild mannered. Charles was employed by H&R Block Tax Firm as one of their senior tax specialists for many years.

One Saturday, July 14, 2018 he answered the Master's call and made his transition to our Heavenly Father. He was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Foster.

Loving memories will forever be cherished by his devoted mother, Vice Mother Fannie Miller, two daughters, Charissa Adrienne Foster and Christina Taylor of New Jersey, one grandson, Taalib Foster, two aunts, Betty McKinney of Albany, GA and Mollie Marlin of Columbus, Ohio, one uncle, Deacon Albert (Gladys) Stephens, of Albany, GA, and a host of cousins and friends too numerous to mention.
