Mr. Austin Thomas Bentley

July 16, 1993 — May 21, 2025

Leesburg, Georgia

Austin Thomas Bentley, 31, passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. Austin resided at 101 Depot Court, Leesburg, GA until recently taking residence in Savannah, Georgia.

Austin was our Ray of Sunshine. He loved family, friends, and good food. He was a skilled carpenter and took great pride in his work. Perfection was not just his motto but was reflected in any project he undertook. Gray Hicks, Austin's cousin, says it best..... Austin was more than just my cousin, he was my brother growing up, my partner in crime, and my very best friend. I will always cherish the memories we created together. His charisma was magnetic, his love was boundless, and he was, without a doubt, the funniest person I know. He had this incredibly amazing ability to light up any room he walked into with his energy and laughter. And let's not forget how incredibly smart he was - he always seemed to have an answer for everything. He gave strength to so many and shaped the person that I am today.

I know Austin struggled. He was human, and his struggles didn't diminish the incredible person he was. Even with his challenges, his charismatic spirit, his loving heart, and his infectious humor always shone through. And I truly believe that Austin's relationship with God was real and enduring. I find comfort in the promise that once saved, always saved.

Austin is survived by his incredible Mother, Cindy Kissinger and "Dad" Larry Kissinger, Jr. Leesburg, GA; his Mimi - Dorene Parker; Leesburg, GA; Grandfather, Larry Kissinger, Sr Leesburg, GA; Grandfather - Gerald Trowell - Wray, GA; Bonus sister, Chelsea Bryant (Nicholas), Leesburg, GA; 5 nieces - Laken and Haizlee Bryant, Leesburg; Presley Parker,Leesburg; Millie Hicks, Pensacola, FL, Ivey Trowell, Worth County, GA; 3 nephews - Braydon Hicks and Liam Hicks, Pensacola, Fll, and Aubrey Trowell, Worth County, GA; Cousins, Keyton Trowell and Skylar Trowell of Albany; Gray Hicks (Brianna), Pennsacola, Fl; Chase Trowell, Leesburg, GA, Uncle- Anthony Trowell (Kim), Worth, County; and Uncle - Keith Collins (Lisa), Leesburg, GA.
