Mr. Arthur McCray

Deacon Authur Lee McCray was born in Americus Georgia on September 25, 1967, to the late Authur McCray Sr. of Leesburg, Georgia and the late Mrs. Clara Mae McCray of Smithville, Georgia. He transitioned to be with our heavenly father on February 4, 2023.

Deacon Authur Lee McCray raised his family in Albany, Georgia. For many years, he worked and retired from Albany Auto Auction as a maintenance professional. He was a member of Greater Deliverance Faith Ministries of Dawson Georgia, where he served as a Deacon. He was also an accomplished bass player and well known in the gospel community.

Deacon Authur Lee McCray was preceded in death by his loving mother and father, Mr. Authur McCray Sr., and Mrs. Clara Mae McCray, a close friend Carl Mike.

He leaves cherish a life of love, his wife Denise McCray (Lumpkin), his children, Milton McCray, Pamela McCray, Michelle Bryant (McCray), Andrew Phillips, Jacory Phillips, Christina Phillips, Jawaski Lumpkin, Antwon Lumpkin all of Albany, Georgia, Mario Lumpkin (Jennifer) of Germany, His siblings, Sharon Angry(Eugene) of Smithville, Georgia, Frederick Daniels, of Americus, Georgia, Willie Covin of Albany, Georgia, Teresa Mason of Albany, Georgia, Tommy Mason Jr., of Albany, Georgia, Dexter Mason (Kimberly) of Arlington, Georgia, Anthony Trice(Michelle) of Albany, Georgia and Jeffery Mason of Atlanta, Georgia, one close friend of the family Kalvin Lundy, a godson AJ Gillion of Chicago, Illinois, a goddaughter Margo Jackson of Smithville, Georgia, thirty-three grandchildren, one greatgrandchild and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, and cousins.
